The origins of KP Naturally are firmly rooted in a family’s Margaret River farm, a daughter growing up in the wine industry, and a winemaking father daring to try something different. 

Katie Priscilla Kerrigan (the K P) is the driving force behind the label; she brought the concept of K P Naturally together with Western Australian Winemaking Veteran Michael Kerrigan  (Also known as Dad).

 

Defining a new generation of wine drinkers, Katie was always searching for honest and untouched pours – that still represented the exceptional quality of Western Australian wines she’d grown up around. 

With more than 30 years of winemaking under his belt, Michael Kerrigan is an incredibly established and celebrated Australian winemaker. Since 2006 he has held the helm at Hay Shed Hill in Margaret River, where he continues to ooze his genuine enthusiasm for the winemaking craft. 

At K P Naturally, this father daughter duo has woven together a wine series that is sourced from independent growers, additive free, wild fermented… and bloody delicious. 

Grenache from Karridale, Tempranillo from Harvey and Chenin Blanc from the Ferguson Valley are all sourced from independent and trusted growers. 

In the winery – everything is wild fermented in old oak. It imparts almost no flavour, is an exceptional natural clarifier. Nothing is added to the wines, and nothing is taken away.
