Winner Winner Chicken Dinner
Last night, Glenn Goodall was awarded the highly anticipated Halliday Wine Companion WINEMAKER OF THE YEAR accolade after two years of being shortlisted.
He very humbly said, “I’m excited and feel very honoured to receive the Halliday Winemaker of the Year award. I’ve been fortunate enough to lead the Xanadu team for many years, and winemaking is definitely a team sport. This award acknowledges everyone, including our growers, who have been involved in the Xanadu journey over the years, and I feel really proud to represent this group."
Half of the brains and beauty behind La Kooki, a much-loved member of our Alliance, Glenn (in our unbiased eyes) is not only an incredible winemaker – but an absolutely outstanding bloke and top notch member of the Margaret River community.
We couldn’t imaging a more worthy recipient of this golden gong.
